Senior Data Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Engineer to spearhead the development and scaling of our enterprise-grade data platforms. If you possess expertise in ETL, Cloud, Data Warehousing, and Big Data ecosystems, along with a passion for solving complex data challenges, this role is tailored for you.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Data Pipeline Design & Optimization: Construct ETL/ELT workflows utilizing AWS Glue, Airflow, Databricks, StreamSets, and Snowflake.
  • Cloud & Big Data Solutions: Architect scalable platforms leveraging AWS (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Athena) and utilize Spark, Kafka, Hive for processing.
  • Data Modeling & Governance: Create robust schemas, ensure compliance (GDPR/HIPAA), and enforce security best practices.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior engineers, collaborate with analysts & data scientists, and act as a technical architect in solution delivery.
  • Performance & Security: Optimize queries, implement RBAC & IAM, and ensure disaster recovery/high availability standards.

  • Programming: Python (primary), SQL (expert), Java (good-to-have)
  • Platforms: AWS (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, S3), Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka
  • Tools: Airflow, StreamSets, DBT
  • Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hive, HBase
  • Strong experience in data modeling, governance, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and enterprise data integration.
