We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Management Consultant to join our Enterprise Functions Control Management Team Strategy, Planning & Governance Team at Wells Fargo Bank.

About this role:

This role involves participating in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within the Control Management functional area. The successful candidate will provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and business controls.

Key responsibilities:
  • Monitor moderately complex business-specific programs and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
  • Provide guidance to business groups on the development, implementation, and monitoring of business-specific programs to identify, assess, and mitigate risk
  • Collaborate with relevant business groups to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Risk Management or Control Management, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Relevant experience in business strategy, business management, Finance, transformation & advisory is also desirable.

A Bachelors, M.A./M.Sc. College Degree or Higher in engineering, accounting, finance, economics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the ability to prepare and present management-level presentations.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on industry standards and location. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
