At RSM US LLP, we are seeking an experienced Enterprise Risk Management Consultant to join our Process Risk and Controls Practice. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, addressing complex strategic, operational, compliance, and governance challenges.

The successful candidate will possess strong risk management skills, including experience in internal audit, SOX advisory, financial controls, contract compliance, and credit reviews. A Chartered Accountant certification is preferred, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.

This role offers a competitive salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience. About the Role

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and project management skills, who can work collaboratively with our clients and team members to deliver high-quality services. The ideal candidate will be able to think critically, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality in sensitive client situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and prioritizing risks, leveraging process and controls to reduce risk exposure
• Collaborate with engagement teams to design and assess internal controls over financial reporting and SOX 404
• Develop and implement risk assessment models, creating initial drafts of identified risks
• Review and document control design and operating effectiveness for business process transactions, access controls, segregation of duties, and automated controls
• Perform first-level reviews of associate work, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and well-reasoned conclusions
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in internal audit, SOX advisory, or a related field (post qualification)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and PowerBI
• Excellent communication, project management, and time management skills
• Ability to travel as needed, working collaboratively with others in-person and remotely
