Job Description

We seek an experienced Database Administrator to oversee the management and support of our MS SQL databases.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and experience in database administration.

This role involves monitoring database logs, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

The selected individual will be responsible for configuring replication, failover clustering, and Always ON configurations, as well as managing link servers and transaction replication.

Regular tasks include purging database logs and trace files, performing configuration reviews, and developing plans to maintain database availability.

This role also requires generating monthly reports on database performance and responding to incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Team management experience is essential
  • Strong understanding of database installation and troubleshooting
  • Ability to configure and manage Always ON clusters, failover clusters, and replication
  • Familiarity with patching, hardening, and job scheduling
  • Preparedness for POA and rollback plans during database migrations
