Job Title: Executive Chef Specialist

As a highly skilled Executive Chef Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering exceptional culinary experiences in our dynamic kitchen environment.

This role requires a strong focus on teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality dishes are served consistently.

  • Prepare and cook menu items to order from senior kitchen staff.
  • Develop advanced knife handling skills and maintain a high level of proficiency in food preparation techniques.
  • Work effectively in any section of the kitchen, demonstrating leadership and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of culinary terms and principles to deliver exceptional results.
  • Read, understand, and follow established recipes and guidelines to produce high-quality dishes.
  • Efficiently complete tasks, working productively and efficiently to meet kitchen demands.
  • Foster a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Public Health guidelines and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in upscale hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or convention banqueting services.
  • Culinary school degree required.
  • Strong management skills in multicultural and dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and people skills.
  • Superior customer service, teambuilding, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of personalized service principles, including needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.
  • Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills.
  • Intermediate computer software skills required.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles such as numbering flow, Debits/Credits, adjusting entries, and corrections.
