VMware Technical Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled VMware professional to join our team as a technical expert. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the VMware suite of tools, including vCenter, RvTools, Shell, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring seamless integration with our infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable VMware-based solutions, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes, leveraging expertise in automation scripting, monitoring systems, and virtualization technologies.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with VMware products, including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
  • Strong understanding of virtualization concepts, including networking, storage, and security.
  • Proficiency in automation scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Experience with Linux, Windows, and other operating systems, as well as monitoring systems like Nagios or Prometheus.
