Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our databases, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities include database administration, replication, troubleshooting, and security.

Main Tasks:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software for peak performance.
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks, tuning SQL queries, and configuring database parameters.
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues, including performance problems, data corruption, and system failures.
  • Develop backup and recovery strategies using RMAN to ensure business continuity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong foundation in database concepts.
  • Experience with Oracle database administration, preferably with knowledge of database architecture.
  • Familiarity with Oracle database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL.
