Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled database specialist to design, develop, and maintain scalable database architectures.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in architecting databases that ensure data integrity and support AI-driven applications.

You will collaborate closely with our engineering teams to optimize storage, retrieval, and analytics pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable database systems (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines.
  • Integrate databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.

  • Experience with data warehouses.
  • Knowledge of streaming data systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML data pipelines.
  • Exposure to DevOps for databases.
  • Prior work with enterprise-scale databases handling high-volume data.
