We're seeking an experienced software architect to lead the development of our enterprise healthcare applications using Laravel and the TALL stack.

About the Role

This is a highly collaborative role, where you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain complex software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust, scalable architecture for large-scale applications.
  • Lead the implementation of custom components and interactive dashboards using Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS.
  • Collaborate on frontend development ensuring responsive and accessible UIs.
  • Write efficient, testable, and reusable code following modern Laravel best practices.
  • Integrate APIs and manage data flows across internal and external systems.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Maintain up-to-date expertise in emerging trends in Laravel and the broader PHP ecosystem.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of experience building complex applications with Laravel.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the TALL stack, including FilamentPHP, Livewire, Alpine.js, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Strong understanding of modern PHP, Eloquent ORM, queues, jobs, and service providers.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
  • Solid understanding of database design (PostgreSQL experience preferred).
  • Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience with multi-tenancy or SaaS application architecture is a plus.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Inertia.js or Vue (even if not your primary stack).
  • Familiarity with automated testing using Pest or PHPUnit.
  • Contributions to open-source Laravel packages or community involvement.
