Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and highly available services that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with product management to envision future features and drive product roadmaps.
  • Define solution architectures that meet customer needs.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide regular feedback to improve service quality.
Technical Requirements:

Leadership Experience:

  • 15+ years of technical leadership experience with a strong track record of success.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in large-scale distributed system development, including hands-on operational experience.

Technology Expertise:

  • Cloud platforms: EC2, S3, Lambda, EFS, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, IAM, VPC.
  • Microservices and event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or other event processing services.
  • Modern UI frameworks: React.js, Angular.
  • Relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Observability tools: Splunk, ELK Stack, DataDog.
  • Automated software testing: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Specflow, Artillery.

Languages and Tools:

  • Python, TypeScript & NestJS, Node.js.
  • DataBricks, AWS/Azure Developer and architect certification.

Additional Experience:

  • Mentoring and training an engineering community on development best practices.
  • Outcome-oriented approach using metrics and data to understand development productivity metrics.
