Lead Frontend UI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior developer to lead our frontend team.

This role involves overseeing the development and architecture of modern web applications in eCommerce and product development contexts.

You'll be responsible for leading by example, implementing code efficiently, communicating effectively with stakeholders, mentoring junior developers, taking ownership of deliverables, and promoting front-end best practices.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & Delivery
  • Oversee design and development efforts on complex, scalable frontend applications using React.js, Next.js, Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand UI/UX requirements, estimate project timelines, and identify implementation risks.
  • Provide hands-on mentorship through debugging, code pairing, and architectural guidance.
  • Perform code reviews, merges, and builds of front-end components.
  • Partner with backend and data teams to build integrated, performant user experiences.
People & Team Management
  • Directly manage engineers, conducting regular one-on-ones, growth conversations, and performance reviews.
  • Team Development & Growth
  • Contribute to hiring strategies, interview processes, and candidate evaluation.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in team building and day-to-day operations.
