About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a new self-serve platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with expertise in React, Node.js, and JavaScript.

In this role, you'll be responsible for building well-designed, high-performance front-end web applications that support complex business rules/flows. You'll also work closely with the technical architects, business, product, and UX teams to influence application data-flow design and extensible product platform architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop UI/UX wireframes using tools such as Figma
  • Apply user experience methodology and best practices to translate user needs and business requirements into engaging user-centered design
  • Pioneer new frontend initiatives and champion them to the rest of the frontend team
  • Work on Agile development environment
  • Experience with Jira, Github, CI/CD and other development life-cycle tools
  • Designing web and mobile applications
  • Understanding development in REACT, NodeJS, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Strong experience with AWS EC2, S3, Lambda
  • IT Implementation and project management experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies
  • Experience in persona development, information architecture, wireframe, and prototyping
  • Familiarity with Figma and similar software

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in software development
  • Agile development environment experience
