Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wi-Fi and Algorithms Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing optimal algorithms in the cloud using existing and new Wi-Fi standards like Wi-Fi 7.

The role involves determining appropriate Wi-Fi metrics from both clients and Access Points to assess and improve Quality of Experience. You will analyze collected statistics to define an architecture and algorithms for managing Wi-Fi connections, and implement these into real-time and offline algorithms using machine learning and formal optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement optimal Wi-Fi algorithms in the cloud using existing and new Wi-Fi standards like Wi-Fi 7
  • Determine appropriate Wi-Fi metrics from both clients and Access Points to assess and improve Quality of Experience
  • Analyze collected statistics to define an architecture and algorithms for managing Wi-Fi connections
  • Implement real-time and offline algorithms using machine learning and formal optimization
  • Define monitoring methods to show the quality of Wi-Fi networks and its constituent links
  • Create statistics and dashboards for service providers to understand the status and quality of connections across their entire network

Requirements:

  • At least ten years of experience in building IEEE 802.11 WLAN products, particularly Wi-Fi 4, Wi-Fi 5, and Wi-Fi 6/6E
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi 7 features and improvements over Wi-Fi 6/6E is essential
  • Working experience on Access Point products at Wi-Fi chipset / SoC firmware, WLAN driver level is preferred
  • Proficiency in data analysis is required, and experience in machine learning is desirable
  • Strong programming skills in SQL and Python are also necessary
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, or Data Science is required, with a Master's or Ph.D. being preferred
