At the forefront of innovation, we seek a seasoned Head of Engineering to drive technological advancements and growth for our Sports Tech company.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing best practices in code quality, testing, deployment, and scalability. You will oversee new feature development, ensuring performance and reliability, while mentoring and upskilling a young team of developers.

Your primary objective will be to scale our product to the next level, collaborating closely with product and business teams to translate vision into tech solutions. You will take ownership of system performance, security, and scalability as the company grows.

  • Drive strategy, execution, and delivery across the entire tech function.
  • Establish and enforce development best practices.
  • Architect and oversee new feature development to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Mentor and upskill a young team of developers.
  • Collaborate closely with product and business teams to translate vision into tech solutions.
  • Take ownership of system performance, security, and scalability as the company grows.

We are looking for a visionary leader with:

  • 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2+ years leading teams.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in modern tech stacks (Node.js, React, AWS, microservices, databases).
  • Proven experience scaling consumer-facing or marketplace products.
  • A builder's mindset - comfortable switching between strategy and execution.
  • Great communicator and mentor who thrives in fast-paced, growing environments.
