Deputy Audit Officer - Depository Operations

The role of Deputy Audit Officer – Depository Operations involves conducting internal audits to verify the adherence to established procedures and regulatory guidelines. This position requires a thorough understanding of depository operations, SEBI regulations, and Depository guidelines in NSDL/CDSL.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify operational risks within the depository functions.
  • Reviewing and evaluating the implementation of DP regulations, identifying gaps or non-compliance, and suggesting improvements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal departments and external entities.
  • Proficiency in internal audit methodologies and practices, including risk assessment and control evaluation.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of depository operations, including knowledge of SEBI regulations and Depository guidelines in NSDL/CDSL.
