Job Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the organization's financial records and ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing financial documents and transactions, processing vendor invoices with accurate TDS/GST booking, and providing timely financial information to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger accounts and financial statements.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of financial documents and transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process vendor invoices with accurate TDS/GST booking in the tally system.
  • Provide timely financial information to support business decisions and strategic planning.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Tally, TDS, or GST is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
