Analyst/Associate Job Description

Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning 30 countries and regions.

Wealth Management, Investment Management, and Wholesale divisions provide capital raising and advisory services, structuring, sales and trading of global securities, and distinctive investment research to global corporations, governments, and financial institutions.

Structured Credit/Rates Trading is an extension of regional Global Markets teams supporting Equities, Securitized Products, Rates, FX, and Credit. This team provides support for activities like research, quantitative modelling, sales and trading support, pricing and balancing, product development, and strategy.

The position involves assessing value and risk, presenting and defending views, and working in a fast-moving environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines
  • Gaining knowledge of relevant global financial products and models developed by the business
  • Answering client requests, designing and implementing bespoke models, and performing trade modelling and analysis
  • Building infrastructure to implement new models and maintaining existing infrastructure
  • Collaborating with sales, traders, and structurers to enable new trades and post-trade analysis
