About the role

The organization is seeking an experienced Debt Funding Specialist with expertise in raising debt funds and experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks.

Responsibilities:

  • Raise debt capital from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
  • Build relationships with lenders, rating agencies, and investors to secure funding
  • Structure debt transactions, negotiate loan terms, and ensure optimal funding costs
  • Maintain adherence to RBI/NBFC regulations and ensure compliance with lending frameworks
  • Develop funding strategies to optimize capital structure and liquidity management
  • Assess funding risks and mitigate exposure

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in raising debt funds from banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions
  • Strong network with lenders, including banks, NBFCs, DFIs, and structured finance players
  • Prior experience in NBFCs or Small Finance Banks is highly desirable
  • Expertise in structured finance, term loans, working capital loans, and credit lines
  • Solid understanding of RBI/NBFC regulations, due diligence, and loan documentation
  • Strong negotiation, financial modeling, and stakeholder management skills
