Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Accounting Professional to join our Finance Division at our Corporate Office in Kochi. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Ernakulam.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely financial reports, and leading a team of junior accountants. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining GST compliance, vendor invoicing, and account reconciliation with precision and within deadlines.
  2. Providing guidance, training, and performance oversight to a team of 4–5 junior accountants.
  3. Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless financial transactions and timely issue resolution.
  4. Communicating effectively with vendors regarding payment receivables and ensuring clarity and transparency.
  5. Clearly explaining credit notes and debit notes to vendors and internal stakeholders.
  6. Ensuring adherence to relevant accounting regulations and organizational policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  1. Strong knowledge of GST laws, invoicing procedures, and reconciliation processes.
  2. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
  3. Excellent communication skills in Hindi, English, and Malayalam (both verbal and written).
  4. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills when dealing with vendors.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software like Tally and MS Office (Excel, Word).
