Audit Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Audit Associate Manager. In this role, you will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, overseeing daily operations and supervising staff.

Your expertise in auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients will be invaluable to our team. As an Audit Associate Manager, you will work collaboratively with our accounting professionals to provide world-class client service.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Client Service:

  • Lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews or compilations to provide excellent client service.
  • Oversee daily operations of audit engagements from staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting and conclusion.
  • Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors and supervisors, promoting open communication to engagement partners.
  • Collaborate with engagement team partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for legal, regulatory and accounting issues.
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines.
  • Create and track engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies.
  • Conduct constructive discussions with team members on evaluations and provide counsel accordingly.

Requirements:

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of public accounting experience, leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Experience auditing real estate, technology and financial services clients preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, technical and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
  • Strong leadership, training and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
