Job Summary:

As a key member of our medical team, the General Manager of Medical Affairs will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's strategic approach to medical affairs.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully guiding cross-functional teams and driving business growth through effective medical marketing support and product evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medical Marketing Support:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive medical reference strategies to enhance product positioning and inform new product research and development.
  • Marketing Collaboration:
    • Provide regular inputs and strategic advice to the marketing team to ensure accurate messaging and compliance.
  • Material Preparation:
    • Design and develop high-quality product manuals, product monographs, and training slides to effectively communicate product benefits.
  • CME Development:
    • Design and prepare Continuing Medical Education (CME) materials to support ongoing education initiatives.
  • Product Evaluation:
    • Evaluate new product ideas and presentations, providing insightful recommendations to the marketing and business development teams.
  • Training Sessions:
    • Conduct medical training sessions for field staff to ensure they are well-informed about products and therapeutic areas.
  • Clinical Study Participation:
    • Actively participate in clinical studies to gather relevant data and insights that inform medical affairs strategies.
  • Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough evaluations of competitors' new products and strategies, providing analysis to inform company positioning and development efforts.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging science to provide valuable insights that drive strategic decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Advanced degree in life sciences (MBBS, MD) or equivalent.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 15 years in medical affairs or related fields, with a focus on marketing support and product evaluation.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
