Job Role

A Data Specialist is required to design, develop and maintain data models within the SAP HANA environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling with at least 6 years of experience. They should be proficient in Power BI for reporting and visualization purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture: Design and implement data architectures that support business processes within the SAP HANA environment.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Develop reports and dashboards in Power BI, utilizing underlying data models and CDS views.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Optimization: Optimize data structures to ensure data consistency, integrity and availability.
  • Integration: Support integration of data across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Performance Tuning: Participate in performance tuning, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data models.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with data governance, quality and security standards.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years of experience in data modeling with expertise in SAP HANA.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting and visualization purposes.
  • Strong knowledge of data architecture, schema design, entity relationship modeling and performance optimization.
  • Proficiency with SAP data structures, CDS views and Fiori analytical apps.
  • Experience with ETL processes, SQL and system integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and communication skills.
