Role Overview

We seek a highly skilled Scientific Marketing Strategist to lead the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive lead generation. This role will coordinate with JoVE's events, webinars, editorial, social media, and email marketing teams to ensure the execution of impactful campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of academic audience insights and be able to maintain a consistent brand voice across all campaign content.

Responsibilities
  • Develop creative direction and overall strategy for JoVE's campaigns, focusing on audience insights from academia.
  • Organize campaign timelines and deliverables, ensuring consistent follow-through and delivery across all channels.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of JoVE's brand voice, ensuring it's applied consistently across all campaign content.
  • Work with project management tools such as HubSpot to manage tasks, track campaign performance, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Perform quality control to maintain high standards for all deliverables.
Requirements
  • A Master's or PhD in a STEM field (preferably Life Sciences).
  • 5+ years in marketing, with experience managing campaigns and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Strong creativity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with and guide multiple teams.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools to effectively track and organize workflows.
  • A passion for science and the ability to understand the needs of diverse academic personas (students, researchers, educators, and librarians).
