Senior Software Engineering Leader

We are seeking an experienced software engineering leader to oversee the development of modern web applications.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills and be able to effectively manage and mentor a team of full stack developers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing scalable backend services using Python and Node.js. They will also be required to build responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React.js and design complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned software engineer to take on a leadership role and drive technical excellence within our organization.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js for backend development.
  • Hands-on experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices.
  • Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and complex query design.
  • Proficient in designing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with experience managing and mentoring developers.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with GraphQL or WebSockets.
  • Exposure to microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, PyTest).
  • Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
