Job Title

A seasoned professional is sought after to lead in the preparation and submission of tenders, as well as drive cost optimization strategies for substation projects.

Tender Preparation & Submission
  • Undertake thorough preparations of techno-commercial proposals to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct requirement studies and secure necessary documents to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate the preparation of legal, auditor, and financial documents for successful bid submissions.
Cost Optimization
  • Develop cost optimization strategies for tender items.
  • Support the Bid Manager in analyzing costs and prices of project items, including benchmarking against market data.
  • Evaluate and optimize overhead costs to ensure competitive bids.
Project Planning & Scheduling
  • Establish tender-specific time schedules and planning documents.
  • Ensure alignment of technical, commercial, and procurement inputs within established timelines.
Procurement & Coordination
  • Implement procurement concepts in coordination with the procurement department.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams for input consolidation.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
  • Identify new market opportunities in the power sector (domestic & SAARC region).
  • Track sector regulations, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
Key Skills & Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of substation EPC tenders, power utilities, and bidding processes.
  • Expertise in costing, estimation, and financial analysis for large infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in tender documentation, contract terms, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cost benchmarking abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with attention to detail.
