Job Summary">

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Estimator Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates for electrical systems and working closely with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Estimation & Costing: Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand the scope of electrical panel projects. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing for components like circuit breakers, relays, transformers, control devices, etc.
  • Tender & Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding processes. Work closely with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies. Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative solutions that meet the client's needs and budget.
  • Coordination with Engineering & Procurement: Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to confirm technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards. Work with the procurement department to validate supplier quotes and secure the best possible prices.
  • Client Interactions: Participate in meetings with clients to clarify project requirements and present estimation reports. Address client inquiries regarding cost breakdowns and estimation methodology.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of all estimates, quotes, and revisions. Provide regular reports on estimation activities and cost analysis to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
