Job Title: Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Estimation Engineer. This is a remote role that involves working closely with the sales team to provide accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimations for Controls, HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation or HVAC-related estimation, with 3-5 years of experience in cost estimation, document formatting, proposal drafting, RFQ analysis, and process improvement. Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating project specifications, technical requirements, and scope of work to understand client needs and objectives.
  • Conducting technical analysis and feasibility studies to determine suitable solutions and approaches for integrating control systems with HVAC systems, DDC systems, and PLCs.
  • Ensuring engineering design integrity by validating proposed technical solutions align with design shared during the RFQ stage.
  • Utilizing industry knowledge, past project data, and estimation software tools to prepare detailed cost estimates for HVAC, DDC, and PLC systems.
  • Coordinating with Design, Procurement, and Production teams to ensure estimation inputs align with execution strategy and project timelines.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with clients, contractors, and vendors to address inquiries and negotiate terms related to cost estimates and project requirements.
