Cloud Platform Support Specialist">

This role involves managing and monitoring our Google Cloud Platform environment, ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of GCP services. You will be responsible for day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Administer and support GCP infrastructure services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub).">
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using GCP monitoring tools.">
  • Manage user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.">
  • Perform incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for GCP services.">
  • Deploy, configure, and manage networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancers, Firewalls) within GCP.">
  • Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.">
  • Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions on GCP.">
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.">
  • Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.">
  • Create and maintain documentation, runbooks, and SOPs for GCP operations.">

  • ">
  • Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform administration and support.">
  • Hands-on with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub.">
  • Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.">
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.">
  • Understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPC peering).">
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.">
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices, IAM, and compliance.">
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.">
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.">

  • Experience with Terraform / Ansible / Deployment Manager.">
  • Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE) and container management.">
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.">
