Job Title:

Application Specialist

Role Overview:

We seek an experienced professional to provide on-site application training, perform instrument and product validations, and conduct technical presentations to clients.

  • Deliver on-site application training to clients
  • Conduct on-site instruments and product validations
  • Present technical information to prospective customers
  • Lead technical demonstrations and position Diagnostic products
  • Troubleshoot Diagnostic instruments and assays onsite
  • Engage in scientific marketing activities, workshops, technical meets, and other customer engagement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science or medical technology and experience as a field application specialist in the IVD industry or Medical Technologist with 7 years experience within a hospital-based laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a leading organization in the IVD segment
  • Provide on-site application support for instruments to advance healthcare and patient outcomes
  • Ensure client satisfaction through prompt support
  • Interact effectively with service professionals and cross-functional teams
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in science or MLT
  • Three years experience as a field application specialist in the IVD industry or Medical Technologist with 7 years experience within a hospital-based laboratory
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency
  • Excellent planning and customer relationship skills
  • Knowledge of laboratory workflow and information systems
  • Able to travel across West India
  • Flexible working hours
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

This role is part of the Application function located in Trivandrum and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. You will be a part of the Application team-South-II region and report to the Application Manager-South-II responsible for Managing application professionals handling the Kerala and nearby territory of South-II region.
