We are seeking a dedicated and organized professional to fill the role of Legal Associate. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance in various corporate governance tasks, transactions, and compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with corporate governance tasks, including required filings, board/shareholder matters, and equity-related projects
  • Support corporate transactions, such as M&A, financings, and capital market transactions
  • Help build and maintain company-wide and internal legal processes and programs to ensure compliance with legal regulations
  • Manage and organize numerous corporate and compliance tasks and workstreams
  • Implement and maintain legal technology platforms and tools (including artificial intelligence tools)

Requirements:

  • Legal degree and familiarity with legal concepts and terminology
  • Experience working at a reputable technology company preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Passionate about legal technology, data security, and artificial intelligence
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with a variety of different teams
  • Receptive to coaching and feedback
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office programs as well as Google suite
