Credit Audit Role

Job Summary:

  • Conduct thorough credit audits of Wholesale Banking and SME segments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or participate in business credit audits, managing a team of 2-4 auditors.
  • Ensure timely commencement and closure of audits, documenting working papers.
  • Prepare and submit audit reports within specified timeframes.
  • Submit RBI data, Tranche III, and other regulatory requirements on time.
  • Focus on quality, correctness, and consistency of audit reports, highlighting policies, internal guidelines, processes, practices, people, revenue assurance, and risk coverage.
  • Carry out assignments such as thematic audits, checklists, and special audits.
  • Coordinate with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and high-quality concurrent audit reports.
  • Examine and provide comfort to the Team Lead Audit on credit-related areas, ensuring regulatory and control requirements are met.
  • Develop audit checklists for internal/concurrent auditors and test processes/procedures to identify potential pitfalls and bottlenecks.
  • Provide suggestions for process/system improvements to line management.
