Our **Custody, Trustee & Depositary Centre of Excellence (COE)** team is seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Strategic Business Technology Liaison Leader. This position is located in Pune, Maharashtra, India – HYBRID.

In this role, you'll make a significant impact by:

  • Delivering Results
    • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business stakeholders, SMEs, and End Users to gather and develop story-level requirements in JIRA, enabling the Development Team to deliver high-quality code.
    • Participate in all agile/sprint activities, including planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, standups, and design.
  • Requirements Engineering
    • Create and maintain story-level functional and non-functional requirements and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA (excluding technical tasks).
    • Write and elaborate stories to align with the Product definition of 'Ready for Development.'
    • Validate stories with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Owners, Business stakeholders, SMEs, and End Users, to gather requirements and desired outcomes.
  • Testing and Implementation
    • Review test cases with testers to ensure test results meet expected outcomes as defined in acceptance criteria.
    • Review testing failures to identify potential missed/new requirements or defects.
  • Production and Operational Readiness
    • Prepare and circulate release notes as part of operational readiness.
    • Support other Ops readiness activities as delegated by the Product Owner.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

  • Technical skills:
    • Agile methodology.
    • Project Management using JIRA and Confluence.
    • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Business Analytics using Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
  • Business acumen/knowledge of:
    • Investment Banking: Subsidiaries, CSDs, and different organizations contributing to investment banking business.
    • Asset Servicing: Understanding asset servicing business.
    • Custody Product Knowledge, specifically:
      • Corporate Action and Income product from Custody business perspective.
      • Proxy product from Custody business perspective.
      • Class Action product from Custody business perspective.
    • Research skills.
    • Critical thinking skills.
    • People/Interpersonal skills:
      • Conflict Management: Ability to manage conflicts efficiently while working on projects.
      • Stakeholder management: Strong experience in managing senior stakeholders as part of projects.
    • Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
    • Negotiation skills: As part of refinement negotiation may be required between different stakeholders to get to the final agreed requirement.

Desired Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or postgraduate degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience in Project/Product delivery (Agile delivery preferred).
  • No direct reports, provides guidance to less experienced colleagues. Leads projects and allocates work accordingly.
  • Relevant market/industry certifications – e.g., AAC, CCBA, CBAP.
