Senior Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Accountant to join our Payments Compliance Accounting team.

Maintaining a robust accounting infrastructure is crucial to support business expansion in payment processing, which is a key focus of this role.

  • Support day-to-day accounting operations, including obligations related to customer funds, corporate cash management, and general ledger maintenance for payments entities.
  • Prepare and analyze U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and secondary books as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Spend significant time on month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and facilitate audit preparations.

This pivotal role requires expertise in accounting principles, finance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and secondary books as required by regulatory bodies.
