Workday Expense Professional

Expert-level support for Workday expense configuration, integrations, and data transmission is required. Data accuracy and enhancements of new Workday features must be ensured.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Configure best practices in Workday and partner with Centers of Excellence to understand pain points, prioritize requirements, and identify opportunities to improve processes.
  2. Lead finance expenses workstreams to design, configure, test, and deploy business processes and solutions in Workday.
  3. Be the primary point of contact for data gathering, testing, and communication with stakeholders and internal Business Systems teams.
  4. Perform tasks such as understanding business requirements, configuring Workday, demonstrating configurations through testing systems, and assisting in testing Workday.

Required Expertise:

  • 6+ years of Workday Expenses experience with proficiency in HCM.
  • Excellent knowledge of Workday Configuration, Security Administration, Business Process Configuration, and EIB (Enterprise Integration Builder).
  • Proven expertise in the Expense module, including awareness of what Workday can and cannot do, familiarity with delivered functionality and reports, and experience performing administrative tasks in Workday.
Job Expectations:
  • Participate in Workday releases, assessing new features and recommending adoption strategies for Talent Management modules.
  • Balance day-to-day systems support with strategic enhancements and projects related to Workday Expenses and Integrations.
  • Responsible for thorough testing and analysis of new Workday features and functionality, and participate in release planning.
  • Experience with Workday Studio, Workday Extend, and integration development.
  • Ability to customize Workday Expense and expand expertise to encompass new areas of Expense Management.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, multitasking, and interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively with both technical audiences and business users.
