Senior JavaScript QA Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior JavaScript QA Engineer to collaborate with our digital technology team in developing and maintaining high-quality client solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the development team using Microsoft Visual Studio ecosystem, GitHub, and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence) to test applications.
  • Develop detailed test plans and cases with well-documented scenarios for new frontend web applications and REST APIs, ensuring high test coverage according to industry best practices.
  • Write automated scripts with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress and perform manual testing as needed, documenting results according to industry standards.
  • Participate in requirement gathering with the development team to identify optimal solutions for new applications and services.
  • Create technical documentation on performed work according to industry standards and best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using known software testing tools and frameworks.
  • In-depth understanding of QA and development methodologies.
  • BASIC knowledge of HTML/CSS.
  • Good coding skills in JavaScript.
  • Experience with a defect tracking system.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level English language skills (very good writing skills, fluent speech).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing.
  • Experience with Docker.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
