Job Overview

A seasoned Network Team Lead is sought to oversee a team of skilled network engineers in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, implement, and manage Cloud Network Infrastructure, including physical and Software Defined Networking (SDN) frameworks, ensuring high availability, flexibility, and network performance.
  2. Maintain accurate and complete infrastructure documentation, updating it as necessary.
  3. Collaborate with the team and stakeholders on daily changes, incidents, and requests.
  4. Lead a team of Network Engineers, providing technical guidance and expertise as needed. Evaluate team member performance and provide feedback to the team and relevant authorities.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and trends to identify risks and business impacts, and provide recommendations.
  6. Develop and deliver solution presentations and technical proposals for cloud network infrastructure projects.
  7. Manage and deliver technical validation activities, including Proof of Concept.

Requirements:

This is a technical leadership role requiring strong technical capabilities and effective management skills. The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining DataCenter networks, including Cisco/Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of WAN & Routing technologies, Security technologies, Switching technologies, and Network monitoring Protocols & Tools.
  • Familiarity with SDN Technologies, preferably hands-on experience with VMWare NSX or similar platforms.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly resolve complex network issues.
  • Proven project management skills and ability to complete complex network tasks with minimal guidance.
  • Motivated learner with ability to quickly learn new technologies and stay current with emerging networking trends.
  • Experience leading a team of at least 4 people in a similar role.
