We are looking for an experienced professional to lead our Home Décor category. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, an eye for design trends, and hands-on experience in inventory management, product sourcing, and cross-functional collaboration.
The role requires strategic planning, analysis of sales trends, and forecast demand for efficient stock planning. The manager will also be responsible for vendor management, payments, logistics, returns, and damages.
- Trend and Market Research: Conduct market research to curate relevant product assortments.
- Vendor Development: Manage vendor development, negotiations, sampling, POs, and timely deliveries.
- Inventory Management: Maintain trackers for vendor management, payments, logistics, returns, and damages.
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in Buying & Merchandising (preferably in home décor, furniture, or lifestyle retail). They should also be proficient in Excel and inventory/merchandising systems.
Apart from the above requirements, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, as well as communication and leadership abilities are essential.
