Senior GCP Data Engineer Job

We are seeking a seasoned Senior GCP Data Engineer with expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform tools.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience working on challenging projects for industries like Energy, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing using GCP services such as Big Query, Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Constructing large complex datasets to meet diverse business needs.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications and leveraging various GCP services to build integrated systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in GCP services including Big Query, Cloud Dataflow (Apache Beam), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow).
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Experience with structured ERP solutions like SAP, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce.
  • A strong understanding of different file formats (CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, ORC, Avro).
  • Knowledge of Data Lake concepts.
  • Experience with API development and consumption (REST, SOAP).
Data Security and Governance:
  • Proven ability to implement IAM best practices (least privilege, service accounts).
  • Familiarity with data masking and anonymization techniques.
