The Sports Program Director will oversee the development, planning, and implementation of sports initiatives across the institution. This role involves managing sports infrastructure, promoting student participation in sports, nurturing athletic talent, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive vision for the sports department and implement strategies to achieve its objectives.
  • Oversee sports programs, tournaments, training camps, and physical education curriculum to promote a culture of fitness and sportsmanship.
  • Manage sports facilities, gymnasiums, and grounds, ensuring proper maintenance and utilization.
  • Mentor talented athletes to represent the institution at various levels.
  • Collaborate with coaches, trainers, and faculty to promote a culture of fitness and sportsmanship.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and awareness campaigns on health, fitness, and sports to educate students and staff.
  • Evaluate the performance of sports coaches and staff to ensure high-quality services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote ethical sports practices.
  • Develop and implement policies as per UGC/AIU norms to promote sports and physical education.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in sports administration, coaching, or sports management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale sports events and teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of modern training methods, sports technology, and performance analytics.
