Senior Test Automation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions by designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in test automation and a passion for quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of software applications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects with detailed documentation.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and coverage.
  • Conduct performance and regression testing to ensure system stability and scalability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
