Job Opportunity: Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will possess 4+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation testing. They should be proficient in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium, and have hands-on knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and AI engineers to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Drive end-to-end automation to enhance coverage, speed, and reliability of releases.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to best practices in test automation.
  • Identify gaps in processes and proactively improve CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation testing.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Strong experience with API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
  • Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/ML product testing or data-heavy applications.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
