Job Title: Marine Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Marine Superintendent to oversee navigational and cargo practices, ensure implementation of the Safety Management System onboard, and support shipboard leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) onboard vessels.
  • Support Senior Marine Superintendents in all marine-related matters.
  • Conduct regular marine visits and audits to monitor vessel compliance and operational standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW, ISM Code, ISO Standards, and maritime risk management. They will also have experience handling third-party inspections and internal audits, as well as proven ability to lead investigations and manage corrective action plans.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring navigational and cargo handling procedures are aligned with international regulations and company policies. You will also assist in delivering safety training sessions, campaigns, and toolbox talks, and promote a strong safety, security, environmental, and energy efficiency culture among vessel and shore teams.

Required qualifications include a Class 1 Certificate of Competency (Master Mariner) and Designated Person Ashore and Company Security Officer qualification; Lead auditor Certification is preferred.
