Job Title: Storage Systems ProfessionalAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled Storage Systems Professional to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Netapp storage systems, ensuring they meet the organization's evolving data storage needs.

This role requires a deep understanding of storage technologies, including NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, and CDOT & fabric switches. You should have experience with software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI, etc.) and a strong grasp of CIFS - NFS and other relevant technologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in procurement, installation, configuration, software upgrades, and storage provisioning. They must also be able to manage vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting, and monitoring tools.

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in storage administration is required for this role. If you have a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest storage technologies and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Netapp storage systems
  • Add disk shelf to existing storage for standalone and high-availability controllers
  • Configure and manage DR replications via SnapMirror
  • Manage vfilers, fiber interconnect switches, storage reporting, and monitoring tools
  • Provide operational support to file serving/NAS infrastructure within the organization
  • Plan and implement data migrations using Robocopy
  • Use an operational ticketing system to record changes and work history details
  • Handle disk, aggregate, Qtree, volume issues
  • Check storage critical events
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp, Hitachi, CMODE, and CDOT & fabric switches
  • Strong technical skills and in-depth understanding of storage technologies
  • Experience with software tools from NetApp (OCUM, OCI, etc.)
  • Excellent understanding of CIFS - NFS and other relevant technologies
  • Experience using process mapping tools and techniques, such as ITIL and Agile
