  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Ceph and ZFS Administration: Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.
  • NFS Server Management: Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.
  • Kubernetes Internals: Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.
  • Container Runtimes: Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Rook-Ceph Operator: Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • CSI Storage Drivers: Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
  • Certifications: Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, or RHCSA are a plus.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science or computer engineering

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph, ZFS, and NFS storage technologies. They should also be familiar with container orchestration systems and have experience working with cloud providers.
