Primary Responsibilities

">
  1. Deliver exceptional and professional service to guests by exceeding their expectations
  2. Welcome guests as per established standards
  3. Report any matters affecting our hotel's interests to Management
  4. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction
  5. Address guest complaints, requests, or inquiries regarding food and services
  6. Coordinate closely with all departments to guarantee maximum productivity, morale, and guest satisfaction

Operational Efficiency

  1. Set up operating equipment and inspect linen and condiments before serving
  2. Familiarize yourself with all dishes on the menu
  3. Clear soiled chinaware, glassware, and silverware from the guest table and re-set the table for the next arrival
  4. In the absence of the Food and Beverage Supervisor, take guest orders, advise guests on specials menu options, and be familiar with the property layout, fire exits, and elevator locations
  5. Report equipment malfunctions, emergency situations, or suspicious persons to the Food and Beverage Supervisor
  6. Minimize breakage, pilferage, and spoilage

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Secondary education or equivalent
  2. Hotel management degree; additional certifications in food and beverage will be advantageous
  3. Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English language
  4. Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be advantageous
