Professional Expertise for Mechanical Design LeadWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design, with expertise in designing electromechanical enclosures and chassis for defense, avionics, and telecom industries.The successful candidate will have experience in milled, sheet metal, and plastic enclosure designs, as well as knowledge of 19-inch rack, ATR, VPX, VME, and ATCA standards. They should also be proficient in Solid works and AutoCAD tools and have good knowledge about BOM creation, material selection, Fastener selection, CNC machining, and surface finish process.In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will be able to manage a team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design electromechanical enclosures and chassis for defense, avionics, and telecom industries
  • Develop and maintain design documentation and specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Manage a team of engineers and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 15+ years' experience in mechanical design, preferably in defense, avionics, and telecom industries
  • Strong technical skills in Solid works and AutoCAD tools
  • Good knowledge about BOM creation, material selection, Fastener selection, CNC machining, and surface finish process
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
