Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to drive strategic and operational leadership of our banqueting and catering businesses in Chandigarh.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance, profitability, and process excellence across all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning.

This role requires a strong financial expert with excellent leadership and management skills to lead and manage accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.

The ideal candidate will have experience in reviewing and analyzing P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects, as well as ensuring statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations.

In addition, the candidate will be responsible for implementing financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting/catering, partnering with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.

The selected individual will also support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations, mentor and supervise the finance team, and drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
  • Lead and manage accounts, payables/receivables, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
  • Review and analyze P&L, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
  • Implement financial best practices, controls, and ERP systems tailored to banqueting/catering.
  • Partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
  • Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
  • Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
