Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated data analytics systems that drive informed decision-making across various departments.

Your primary focus will be on creating data pipelines that seamlessly integrate with existing infrastructure, including MongoDB, Flat files, AWS S3, Athena, and Redshift. You will leverage Magic ETL, SQL Transformation, and Blend to craft high-quality datasets that meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.

In addition to data engineering, you will also be expected to develop personalized data permissions (Row Level Security) based on user requirements, ensuring sensitive information remains secure. Furthermore, you will contribute to data governance, metadata management, and user administration, guaranteeing data integrity and consistency throughout the organization.

Achievements include:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines that efficiently extract insights from large datasets
  • Developing high-quality datasets through Magic ETL, SQL Transformation, and Blend
  • Implementing personalized data permissions to ensure secure access control
  • Collaborating on data governance initiatives to maintain data integrity and consistency
  • Supporting user administration tasks to facilitate smooth data operations
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Data Engineering:** Strong expertise in designing and developing data pipelines, integrating with various data sources, and optimizing data processing workflows
  • SQL and Data Analytics:** Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries, leveraging statistical analysis, and interpreting complex data sets
  • ETL and Data Transformation:** Familiarity with Magic ETL, SQL Transformation, and Blend, as well as experience in data wrangling and quality assurance
  • Cloud Computing:** Experience working with AWS Cloud services, particularly DMS, S3, Glue, Athena, and Redshift
  • Personalized Data Permissions:** Understanding of Row Level Security principles and ability to implement customized access controls
  • Collaboration and Communication:** Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
