AI Engineering Professional (Staff Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned AI engineering professional to join our team as a Staff Engineer. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing and deploying innovative solutions that drive real-world impact.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building robust systems and a passion for applied AI. You will be responsible for developing high-performance backend applications using modern technologies, fine-tuning pre-trained models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable, high-performance backend applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Build and maintain APIs and microservices that enable real-time and batch inference of AI/ML models.
  • Fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models (e.g., LLMs, classification models) for specific business use cases.
  • Integrate external AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Google Vertex AI) where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—ML engineers, software developers, product managers, and DevOps—to deliver end-to-end AI-powered features.

As a Staff Engineer, you will also contribute to MLOps workflows, including deployment, versioning, and monitoring of models in production.
