Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to take ownership of backend delivery in a TypeScript/AWS environment. The role involves building and extending backend services, writing transactional business logic for financial flows, designing and maintaining PostgreSQL schemas, integrating with third-party APIs securely, improving existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements.

This is an urgent hire, and we need someone who can start immediately. We require a strong team player who can collaborate via GitHub and CI/CD workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services. Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one, are essential. Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns, as well as PostgreSQL experience, schema design, performance tuning, and real-world queries, are also required.

Solid understanding of building secure, documented REST APIs is necessary. Ability to work independently and communicate clearly is crucial. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally and make significant contributions to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and extend backend services using TypeScript/Node.js.
  • Write transactional business logic for financial flows (e.g., onboarding, withdrawals).
  • Design and maintain PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs securely (OAuth2, JWT).
  • Improve existing systems for performance, reliability, and audit requirements.

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills, productive from day one.
  • Hands-on with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns.
  • PostgreSQL experience, schema design, performance tuning, real-world queries.
